The Waterfront Festival (July)

Celebrate the 4th of July in style at the magnificent Waterfront Festival. Kicking off at noon with concerts, bands and live performances, it really is an event for the whole family. Enjoy some of the city's best street foods, browse the offerings of local vendors or sit back and watch the kids enjoy the events put on for them. San Jose Jazz Festival (August)

Held annually in August, the Jazz Festival features over 80 artists, and attracts crowds exceeding 100,000. Although the highlight of the event is the live music, the festival also features mural painting, a club crawl, a jazz brunch and music masterclasses.

Oktoberfest By The Bay (September)

The bay comes alive in October, as San Francisco morphs into a mini Munich. Running for an entire weekend, the festival comes complete with singing and dancing, food, and of course, pints of beer.

Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony (November)

The holiday season is kicked off at the end of November, with the annual lighting of the 50 foot Christmas tree. There will be carol singing, hot chocolates, puppet shows and stilt walkers. Kick off your Christmas celebrations in style with this truly memorable event.
