Snow Queen Trophy Ski World Cup (January)

This annual event is held at the Mount Medvednica every January. It is unique by being the only such event held so close to a major city. Up to 25,000 Spectators can watch this event that includes both men's and women's slalom races.

Noc muzeja (Night of the Museums) (January)

In late January each year the city's museums and art galleries open up their doors during the evening for free access to all exhibitions. It's well worth taking advantage of.

INmusic Festival (June)

This three day music festival takes place on the shores of Lake Jarun in late June. This is Croatia's biggest music festival and often features big rock and indie names but with festival tickets at far lower prices than in the rest of Western Europe.

Ljeto na Strosu (Summer on Strosu) (May-September)

This summer long music event takes place from May to September with a variety of classical music and performance art acts every evening in various locations along the Strossmayer Boulevard.
