Chinese New Year Shopping Festival (January)

One of the biggest trade shows of its kind, the event features the latest in clothing, jewellery, home products, accessories, leather goods and gifts.

The Sun Festival of Jinsha

A celebration of the Chinese Spring Festival at the Jinsha Museum each spring. Visitors can expect lanterns and ice sculptures, flower fairs, parades and music and dance performances.

Flower Festivals (March)

Various flower festivals take place each spring. Starting in early March with the pear blossom festival in Xinjing County and ending with the Pengzhou peony festival in mid-May.

Sichuan Opera Performances (July - September)
