For Art and Culture Lovers

The Museum of Brisbane is housed in one of the city's premier heritage buildings. Located on the top floor of the City Hall building, state of the art exhibitions bring the city's history to life. The museum hosts a number of exhibitions and event, and boasts magnificent views of Brisbane as well.

The Customs House is a magnificent 19th century building that offers an immersive educational and cultural experience. The jewel in the shopping crown of the city is the Queen Street Mall, which is considered to be the centre of fashion and retail within Queensland. It is conveniently located and easily accessible by public transport. Every Wednesday, the area also transforms into a farmers market selling local flowers, food, and artisan products.

The largest koala sanctuary in the world is the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary in Brisbane. There is nothing quite like cuddling a koala, and a visit to the sanctuary makes for an unforgettable experience. The sanctuary is also home to other native Australian animals, such as wombats, dingoes, kangaroos, crocodiles and wallabies. Daily birds of prey exhibitions, sheep dog shows and Tasmanian devil feedings all add to make the visit truly memorable.

The Mount Coot-tha Botanic Gardens is a favourite attraction with tourists. It offers panoramic views of the city, and is home to various themed gardens. 52 hectares of horticulture houses the world's largest collection of Australian rainforest trees.
A small group tour with a maximum of 15 people is available at the Springbok National Park. It offers the chance to take in the breathtaking beauty and tranquillity of a World Heritage listed wilderness. This wilderness adventure includes the chance to swim in rainforest pools, a picnic lunch, and and a guided bushwalk.

A much loved landmark in Brisbane is the Story Bridge. Constructed during the great depression in the 1930's, it is only one of three locations in the world that offers thrill-seekers the opportunity to perform a bridge climb. For those looking for an adrenaline hit, it is a truly unique and memorable experience that cannot be missed. The adventure experience, which involves walking across the Story Bridge in groups wearing safety harnesses, is one of the best and most scenic ways to see the city. For an extra adrenaline rush, you can abseil down the iconic 80 meter high cantilever bridge.
